Congress Summary
The 3rd Krakow Congress of Medical Tourism is already behind us!
On October 22-23, 2018 at the ICE Krakow Congress Center, a wide group of specialists and representatives associated with the broadly understood industry of medical tourism met for the third time.
For two days, 200 participants had the opportunity to listen to 5 standard lectures, participate in three workshops and listen to conversations of specialists during three thematic panels. During the entire Congress the participants had the opportunity to listen to nearly 30 speakers who shared their knowledge and experience in the field of tourism motivated by health and medical goals.
The group of speakers included exceptional guests from abroad: Igor Torskyy – the founder and Vice President of the Ukrainian Association of Medical Tourism (UAMT); Keith Pollard (UK) - the editor-in-chief of the International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ), the Executive Chairman of LaingBuisson International; Mariam Ozod-Hamad - head of International Marketing and Quality Management with Vivantes International Medicine in Berlin as well as a member of the German Board of Experts on Medical Tourism. The B2B session with contractors from Ukraine, commissioned by the Polish Tourist Organization an organized by Mr. Mariusz Arent, also turned out to be a great success. The meetings were very popular and the talks, held in a specially designated zone, went on until the last minutes of the Congress.
Once again, we would like to thank the co-organizers of the event, its partners and all patrons. Thanks to the support and efforts of all parties, we can officially announce that once again the Congress has been a huge success.
